Benefits:
1. One-year Program: Total Amount: 200,800 RMB per annum for each student, covering:
- Registration costs, tuition, fees for laboratory experiments, fees for internships, and expenses for essential educational materials are all exempt.
- Accommodations on campus.
- Living Allowance: annually, each student receives 96,000 RMB.
- One-time 3,000 RMB settlement subsidies are provided to each student following enrollment.
- Total medical coverage.
- A one-way ticket to China for registration, as well as a one-way flight back to the student’s home nation once the study is over.
2. Two-year Program (1+1 studies)
The one-year program and the scholarship are identical for the first academic year. The scholarship will only pay for one round-trip ticket for the dissertation defense; students will complete their theses in their home countries and their dissertation defense in China during the second academic year.
Eligibility Criteria for Youth of Excellence Scheme of China Program Chinese Government Scholarship
Applicants are advised to meet the following prerequisites to be qualified for the Youth of Excellence Scheme of China Program Chinese Government Scholarship:
- In good physical and mental health; under 45 years of age (born after September 1, 1979)
- A bachelor’s degree or above, three years or more of work experience, and some training or job experience in a discipline related to the requested program
- Functioning as a Section Director or Chief of Office, a senior manager, or a highly skilled researcher in science in a government agency, business, or research center.
- Excellent command of the English language, with the ability to follow classes taught in English. IELTS (Academic) total score of 6.0 or TOEFL Internet score of 80 are the minimal prerequisites for reference.
- Possessing great career development potential and a desire to advance exchanges and cooperation between China and their nation.
- Applications are not accepted from students who are enrolled in classes in China or who have previously received a Chinese government scholarship.

Duration of Scholarship:
The courses will run for either one or two years. Fall term beginning in September of 2024
