About the University of Glasgow and Scholarship

In post-nominals, the University of Glasgow is known as Glas. It is a public research university in Glasgow, Scotland (Scottish Gaelic: Oilthigh Ghlaschu). It was founded in 1451 [O.S. 1450] by papal decree, making it Scotland’s fourth-oldest university and the oldest in the English-speaking world.

Students from outside the United Kingdom and the European Union (EU) who are beginning a postgraduate Master’s program in any field during the academic year 2023–2024 may apply for one of the several international leadership scholarships offered by the University of Glasgow. As a tuition fee reduction, the scholarship is given.

Eligibility Criteria for University of Glasgow International Leadership Scholarships

Applicants are advised to meet the following requirements to be qualified for University of Glasgow International Leadership Scholarships:

  • Candidates should be top students.
  • Candidates should possess grades that are on par with UK 1st Class Honors.
  • The University of Glasgow should have extended an offer to applicants for the postgraduate taught program.
  • For fee purposes, candidates should be classified as international.
  • Applicants will be automatically evaluated for the award based on their academic merit.

Application Process for the University of Glasgow International Leadership Scholarships

No additional application is necessary. By academic merit, applicants who have offers will automatically be evaluated for the scholarship. Within six weeks of getting a scholarship offer, candidates who are being taken into consideration will be contacted.
