About the University of Auckland and Scholarship
In Auckland, New Zealand, there is a public research institution called the University of Auckland (UoA). It routinely ranks among the top 100 institutions in the QS World University Rankings and is the largest, most complete, and best-ranked university in New Zealand. The organization began as a constituent college of the University of New Zealand in 1883. It was first located in an abandoned courthouse. With around 40,000 students enrolled across five campuses in Auckland, the institution of Auckland is now New Zealand’s largest institution by enrollment. The majority of the students and faculty are located at the City Campus in the heart of Auckland. Eight faculties, including a law school, and three affiliated research institutions are present.
When it was first established on May 23, 1883, as Auckland University College, the University of Auckland was a constituent institution of the University of New Zealand. John Chapman Andrew, the university’s vice chancellor from 1885 to 1903, was in charge of overseeing the institution throughout its formative years. New Zealand’s top university is the University of Auckland. Along with the University of Otago and the Auckland University of Technology, it is one of the top 250 universities in the world according to the Times Higher Education rankings and is rated higher than any other New Zealand institution in the QS World University Rankings and Shanghai Jiao Tong Academic Ranking of World Universities.
The International Student Excellence Scholarship at the University of Auckland was created in 2016. The major goal of the scholarship is to draw fresh, highly qualified overseas students to Waipapa Taumata Rau, the University of Auckland, where they can enroll in undergraduate or postgraduate taught study for one year or longer.
The University of Auckland is offering an international student excellence scholarship for 2023 for undergraduate and graduate study in all areas of study that the university offers. The University of Auckland is offering this scholarship, which only covers up to $10,000 in tuition. Any citizen may apply for this scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria for the University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship
Applicants are advised to meet the following conditions to be eligible for the University of Auckland International Student Excellence Scholarship:
- English Language Academy (ELA) students who have obtained a conditional offer or new overseas students who have earned an unconditional offer are eligible to apply.
- An undergraduate degree (applying with abroad secondary or post-secondary qualifications) or a postgraduate diploma or master’s (taught) of 120 points or more should have been applied for by the applicants.
- No applications will be accepted from students who have already started their studies at the University of Auckland.
- It is not possible to postpone the Scholarship until the next semester.
- The Scholarship may be used in conjunction with any other grant, prize, or scholarship.
