Eligible Criteria for University Of New England (Australia) UNE Destination Australia Program (DAP)
Applicants are advised to meet the following requirements to be qualified for the University Of New England (Australia) UNE Destination Australia Program (DAP):
- Applied for admission to a Higher Degree by Research course (Masters by Research or Doctorate) or received an offer of admission between January 1, 2024, and June 30, 2024.
- Not yet enrolled full-time on campus (residential in the Armidale region is required),
- A domestic or international applicant
- Applicants who fit the Australian Government’s National Skills Priorities will be given preference.
- Applicants from educationally underrepresented groups (e.g., first-generation, low socioeconomic level, First Nations, handicapped, culturally and linguistically diverse, etc.) may be given preference.
- Applicants who are not already receiving another scholarship may be given preference.
- The Graduate Research School will oversee the scholarship’s administration.
- The Committee’s choice is conclusive.

The prerequisites for admission to UNE’s higher degree by research course must be met by applicants. Please review the entry requirements. The application for candidature is required of applicants who want to apply for a scholarship.
