Benefits:

Senior Research Fellowship in Cyber – Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are advised to meet the following conditions to be eligible for a Senior Research Fellowship in Cyber:
- Qualified Countries: Open to all backgrounds
- Admissible Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be given in any course that Chatham House offers, however, it will mostly focus on the Cyber Policy Portfolio.
- Acceptable Criteria: To be qualified, candidates must meet all the following/given criteria:
- Knowledge and expertise in public policy, commercial, or academic settings about cyber policy challenges and topics at the intersection of technology, international security, and politics.
- Proven ability to conduct research with real-world policy implications; recognized as a skilled researcher with a background in field research, skillful application of research techniques, desk research, and data analysis.
- A track record of conducting and managing research projects, overseeing research communication initiatives, and creatively presenting research results.
- Outstanding writing abilities to create well-written opinion pieces and policy suggestions that are appropriate for a variety of audiences.
- A successful track record of engaging potential donors and upholding a solid rapport with funders to raise money for research initiatives.
- Editorial experience with overseeing, organizing, or managing peer-reviewed articles for journals or related publications is a big plus.
- Expertise in leadership, including overseeing junior employees and managing people and small teams.
- Ability to make informed decisions under time constraints, recognize important concerns fast and decide on the best course of action.
- Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to make arguments and facts seem convincing.
- Excellent relationship-building and relationship-management abilities, acting as a major influencer both within and externally.
- Aptitude for tackling problems strategically and knowledge of how the research objective fits into larger corporate and societal frameworks.
- Capacity to fulfill deadlines, prioritize activities wisely, and make outstanding decisions and judgment calls when completing projects.
- The capacity to take difficult subjects and turn them into content that has an impact.
- Cooperative mentality, eager to help peers advance their abilities, and eager to actively support creativity within the larger team.
