In Mankato, Minnesota, the United States, the Minnesota State institution, Mankato (also known as MNSU, MSU, or Minnesota State) is a public institution. It is the second-largest institution in Minnesota and has more than 145,000 active alumni worldwide. It is sometimes referred to as the flagship college and is the second-oldest member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system, having been founded in 1868. The Second State Normal School was founded in 1858, and a decade later the Mankato Normal School was formally inaugurated. More than 130 undergraduate programs, 13 preprofessional programs, and more than 85 graduate programs are all available at MNSU. The institution offers a thorough education, with general requirements for students to master mathematics, writing, cultural diversity, speaking, information technology, and the environment included in each undergraduate program of study. With 11 student grant awards and 41 Fulbright Scholars, Minnesota State is one of the top-producing master’s universities in the country.

Eligibility for Moorhead International Student Scholarships

  • Candidates must meet the following requirements to be eligible for Moorhead International Student Scholarships: Applicants must be international students.
  • Students must meet qualifying requirements, such as full-time enrollment, maintaining a minimum GPA, major, year in college, or financial need, to be considered for scholarships.
  • Unless otherwise specified in the application requirements, scholarships require enrollment in full-time (12+ credits each semester).
  • Even though they don’t require yearly applications, renewable scholarships may have GPA limitations. Automatic scholarships are given for the chosen semester and/or year or until you graduate, whichever comes first. Loss of scholarship money is possible if qualifying standards are not met.
  • Scholarships cannot be transferred to another institution.
