The university’s picturesque 295-acre campus is nestled along the scenic Willamette River. UO’s student-athletes, known as the Ducks, compete in the Pac-12 Conference within the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). With a strong emphasis on sports like football and track and field, the Oregon Ducks have become synonymous with athletic excellence.

One notable opportunity for international students at the University of Oregon is the International Cultural Service Program (ICSP). This scholarship is designed for students who not only showcase financial need and exceptional merit but also have a cultural service component. Recipients of the ICSP scholarship are actively involved in presenting aspects of their home country to various audiences, including children, community organizations, and UO students, faculty, and staff. The ICSP scholarship is renewable each year until the completion of a UO degree, contingent on students fulfilling the program’s requirements. This initiative reflects the university’s commitment to fostering cultural exchange and global understanding among its diverse student body.
