Nestled in the scenic locales of Falmouth and Penryn in Cornwall, England, Falmouth University, known as Pennskol Aberfal in Cornish, stands as a distinguished public university specializing in the creative industries. Its roots trace back to 1902 when it was established as the Falmouth School of Art, evolving over the years to be known as Falmouth College of Art and Design, and later Falmouth College of Arts until 2012. The university achieved full university status, receiving official recognition from the Privy Council in 2012.

Falmouth University operates across two campuses, with the larger Penryn Campus situated near the town of Penryn. This campus operates in collaboration with the University of Exeter. The Falmouth Campus is strategically located in the Falmouth town center. With a student population of around 7,000, the university offers a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.

Penryn Campus serves as the primary administrative hub, housing the Schools of Art, Design, and Fashion. The campus underwent modifications in anticipation of a high intake in September 2012, with the conversion of the first floor of the library into BA Graphic Design studios, responding to planning constraints for building on the existing graphic design department building.

The £2,000 scholarship will be applied to the student’s tuition in the second installment. It will be subtracted from the total amount of outstanding fees. It’s crucial to remember that each student is only eligible to earn one scholarship and that the program does not apply to online courses.

Considering the small number of scholarships available, candidates are encouraged to apply only if they can cover their living expenses and tuition. Students will be immediately eligible for this renowned award if they have previously received an offer and paid the acceptance fee.

Eligibility Criteria for Falmouth University India Nationals’ Scholarships

Candidates are advised to meet the following requirements to be eligible for Falmouth University India Nationals’ Scholarships:

• Indian nationals are eligible countries
• Courses and Subjects Accepted: Falmouth University offers scholarships in any of its subjects.
• Acceptable Requirements: To be considered for the India Nationals Scholarship, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
  • Possess Indian nationality.
  • Pursue a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree at Falmouth University taught on campus.
  • (Except January 2024 or January 2025 entrance) Start studying in September 2024.

Please note:

• Online courses are excluded from the scholarship program.
• Each student is limited to one scholarship.

• Since there are only a few scholarships offered by the university, we advise you to apply only if you can pay for your living expenses and tuition.
• The scholarship will be given out automatically to those students who have already been offered admission and have paid the acceptance fee.

Application Procedure for Falmouth University India Nationals’ Scholarships

This scholarship does not have a specific application form. If the first 15 offer holders satisfy the requirements and, upon request, pay the acceptance fee within 7 days of receipt, they will automatically be given the scholarship.
