Edith Cowan University ECU Business and Law Excellence Scholarship in Australia for 2024/2025
The 2024/2025 academic year’s application period for the ECU Business and Law Excellence Scholarship is currently open.
We want to create strong, competent leaders at the School of Business and Law who will make a difference in the real world. As one of our guiding principles, excellence is something we aim for and one that we reward in our pupils. The ECU School of Business and Law is pleased to offer a 15% tuition reduction ECU Business and Law distinction Scholarship to students who can show distinction in their profession and a dedication to their studies in acknowledgment of this.

ECU Business and Law Excellence Scholarship – Eligibility
- Before registering for your course, you must email Colin Watson to request an application for the ECU Business and Law Excellence Scholarship.
- To be eligible for this award, you must be a prospective ECU student.
Eligibility Guidelines
- Only nominees are eligible for this ECU Business and Law Excellence Scholarship.
- If you can show that your undergraduate degree has a Weighted Average Mark above 70, you could be qualified for this award.
- If you are currently employed by your organization in a management position (C-Suite, Director, Senior Manager), you could qualify.
- To qualify for nomination, you must also be a domestic student planning to enroll in one of the postgraduate Business & Law programs (mentioned below).
- Candidates must not have applied to study at ECU previously.

Interview Date, Process, and Venue for the Scholarship
You must continue to fulfill the following requirements to be eligible for the ECU Business and Law Excellence Scholarship:
- A second ECU scholarship cannot be awarded to the scholarship recipient.
- Following ECU’s deadlines, the scholarship winner must apply and accept their course offer. If the offer is not accepted by the deadline, the scholarship will no longer be available.
- The scholarship winner must adhere to the guidelines specified to use the award and register for the course.
- Course transfers are not allowed without ECU’s consent (permission may be revoked by ECU at its sole discretion); the scholarship winner must be continually enrolled in their initial course of application and have and maintain an academic advancement status of GREEN.
- The scholarship recipient must sign a talent release form for ECU to use their picture for marketing and advertising reasons.
- The scholarship recipient must be able to help ECU’s marketing and communications efforts by participating in significant marketing events that ECU has identified.
- The award recipient is responsible for meeting all payment deadlines, including tuition. The scholarship will be void if this is not done, and full tuition rates will apply instead.
- Candidates must not have applied to study at ECU previously.
ECU reserves the right to award any scholarships. ECU reserves the right to revoke the scholarship at any time if it is discovered that the applicant provided false information, does not meet the requirements for eligibility (including ECU’s general and unique admission requirements), or does not adhere to the ongoing requirements of the ECU Business and Law Excellence Scholarship. If in its judgment there are no qualified candidates, ECU maintains the right to refuse to provide scholarships. ECU has complete control over how many scholarships will be given out.

Before you register for your program, email Colin Watson to request the ECU Business and Law Excellence Scholarship.
You need to be nominated to be eligible for this scholarship. We will provide you with information on how to use the scholarship and submit an application for your course after we have nominated you. The Submission Deadline for the Scholarship is December 31, 2023.
