At the University of British Columbia, there is a faculty called the Sauder School of Business. The 2015 QS Global 200 Business Schools Report rated the MBA program as the 16th best in North America. The MBA at UBC Sauder was ranked first in North America for “international faculty,” for “international mobility,” and fifth in North America for international students, according to the Financial Times 2015 rankings of business schools. The MBA is ranked second among Canadian business schools and in the top 5% of MBA programs globally. 

The UBC MBA program was ranked number two globally for its efforts to include sustainability into management education in the Corporate Knights 2014 Global Green MBA Survey, and it was ranked number 23 in Forbes’ ranking of the top international business schools. The Canadian MBA Alliance, which was established in 2013, counts the institution as one of its founding members. According to their involvement in the Financial Times, Business Week, and The Economist major rankings, all six alliance members are among the top 100 schools in the world.

Awards enable students to lower their tuition costs. The Early Entrance Awards are being implemented by the UBC Sauder School of Business to assist students. Students from other countries who desire to pursue a master’s degree at the UBC Sauder School of Business may also apply for this scholarship. It is not just open to students who are Canadian citizens.

Eligibility Criteria for UBC Sauder School of Business Early Entrance Awards

Applicants are advised to meet the following conditions to be eligible for the UBC Sauder School of Business Early Entrance Awards:

  • Students from Canada and other countries are eligible to apply.
  • Eligible Courses or Subjects: The UBC Sauder School of Business accepts applications for its MBA program. 
  • Qualification Standards: All of the following requirements must be met by candidates to be considered:
  1. The candidates must be deserving of equality and belong to an underrepresented group.
  2. The candidates must have shown a dedication to creating an inclusive culture in their communities and a commitment to excellence in both academic and professional contexts. 
  • Requirements for Admission: The candidates must possess a three- or four-year Bachelor’s degree with a B+ average or an accepted alternative.

Required Documents:

  • Academic transcripts 
  • Official exam results, unofficial transcripts, unofficial degree certificates, and at least two references.

Application Procedure for UBC Sauder School of Business Early Entrance Awards

All interested candidates are required to submit their admission applications via the university portal. Qualified students will be considered automatically. 

The Application Deadline is September 5, 2023, and January 9, 2024, respectively.
