Selection Criteria

First and foremost, candidates will be judged on their ability to articulate a clear vision and a workable plan for creating a particular solution that will address significant structural, political, social, economic, or environmental issues in their home nation. Promising candidates will be able to relate this to how their course of study will help them in their endeavors and what learning objectives it will meet. Applications that exhibit the Developing Solutions ethos will next be evaluated based on more conventional scholarship standards, such as your motivation for attending Nottingham University and any notable accomplishments.

Make sure you have enough time to think through compelling responses. When choosing scholarships, the school will take into account both your academic merit and your responses.

Please note that there is a strict word count limit for all questions, which is specified at the end of each question. Since the system does not automatically cap this, it is advised that you review your application before submitting it. Responses that are sent in more words than the specified limit might not be examined.
