Benefits
The annual worth of each scholarship will be $5,000, and it will be awarded in equal installments following each semester’s census date. For as long as the cash is available, one scholarship will be awarded annually. There is a one-year term. The scholarship will be disbursed following each semester’s census date in two equal installments.
Eligibility Criteria for Flinders University Carson Northern Territory Medical Program Scholarship
Candidates are advised to meet the following conditions to be qualified for the Flinders University Carson Northern Territory Medical Program Scholarship:
- be enrolled in Flinders University’s Northern Territory Medical Program in its second or third year; and
- possess the ability to act with constant professionalism and a dedication to working in the Northern Territory.
Note: With this scholarship, leave will be allowed for a maximum of one semester during the second semester.
Selection Criteria
The scholarship will be given out based on a candidate’s commitment to working in the Northern Territory and their track record of consistent professional behavior. Students who require financial assistance may be given preference.
Recipients may reapply in future years, however, students who have not previously received this scholarship may be given preference.
A panel comprising representatives from the College of Medicine and Public Health will make the decision.
Application Process for Flinders University Carson Northern Territory Medical Program Scholarship
It is necessary to submit applications online via the Flinders University Student System. To apply, applicants must log in and go to the My Scholarships tab. Applicants must download and fill out the Carson NTMP Scholarship Application Form to submit their application. To complete the application procedure, the completed form needs to be submitted online.
