About the University of Technology Sydney and Scholarship
Near Central Station and Railway Square, the University of Technology Sydney city campus is situated on the southern edge of Sydney’s central business area. The UTS Tower serves as the focal point of the city campus, which faces Broadway.
There are five distinct precincts on the campus. Broadway, Haymarket, and Blackfriars are located on the city campus, while Moore Park and Botany precincts bring together specialist facilities and surrounding commercial groups.
On Broadway in Ultimo, you may find the UTS Library, the faculties of Science, Health, Law, Arts and Social Sciences, Engineering and IT, and Design, Architecture, and Building. Haymarket is home to the Business School, UTS Startups, the UTS Animal Logic Academy, and two lecture rooms for the Powerhouse Museum. While sporting facilities are housed inside the Rugby Australia Building in the Moore Park Precinct and the UTS Tech Lab is situated in the Botany Precinct, the Blackfriars Children’s Center and research and innovation teams are situated in the Blackfriars Precinct in Chippendale.
The university’s City Campus Master Plan, a $1 billion-plus investment in new buildings and facilities, significant improvements, and refurbishments, has significantly changed the campus since 2008.
An Indigenous Australian can pursue full-time Ph.D. studies at UTS with the help of the Sir Gerard Brennan Scholarship, which also offers financial assistance for research. In 2004, Sir Gerard Brennan, AC KBE, a former Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia and former Chancellor, was honored with the creation of this scholarship.
