About LOYOLA University Chicago

Located in Chicago, Illinois, Loyola University Chicago (often known as Loyola or LUC) is a private research institution. One of the biggest Catholic universities in the US is Loyola, which was established in 1870 by the Society of Jesus. Saint Ignatius of Loyola serves as its namesake. The Loyola University Medical Center serves as the academic hub for the professional schools of Loyola, which provide courses in nursing, medicine, and health sciences. It is categorized as belonging to the “R2: Doctoral Universities – High Research Activity” group.

Loyola University, which consists of thirteen colleges and institutions, has 17,000 students enrolled in more than 140 graduate and professional programs and 80 undergraduate programs. Six campuses of Loyola are spread around the Chicago metropolitan region, in addition to a school in Rome and a guest program in Ho Chi Minh City. In 2018, Beijing ended a different guest program. A little more than seven miles north of the Loop, in the Chicago communities of Rogers Park and Edgewater, lies the main Lake Shore Campus.

Loyola University was ranked sixth among “colleges most committed to community service” by USA Today in 2011. Washington Loyola University was ranked 21st in the US for community service hours by Monthly.

According to BusinessWeek, Loyola’s Graduate School of Business is the best in the country for ethics. A reputable rating system for graduate faculty excellence, the Faculty Scholarly Productivity Index, placed Loyola’s history department sixth in the US in 2006. The National Research Council’s 2010 survey of the nation’s graduate programs placed the History Department in the top tier.

The institution invites potential students to apply for Loyola tuition scholarships for the MJ and LLM degree programs in Rule of Law for Development. To be eligible for the Rule of Law Scholarship, you must finish this application. The Rule of Law for Development Scholarship Application is being made available by LOYOLA University Chicago to those who are qualified and seek to enroll in the university’s MJ and LLM degree programs. The school will examine your application for a tuition scholarship regardless of whether you are accepted to the program. A candidate will not be given an official award until after the admissions procedure has been completed.

Eligibility Criteria for Rule of Law for Development Scholarship

Applicants must fulfill the requirements listed below to be eligible for the Rule of Law for Development Scholarship:

  • International students are required to apply.
  • Candidates must be able to commit to a full-time program.
  • Students interested in the University’s MJ in Rule of Law for Development
  • Those who are applying for their first Loyola master’s degree or post-baccalaureate certificate
  • applicants who have finished their undergraduate degrees.

Please note: The scholarship cannot be used in conjunction with any other grants or Loyola discounts.
